Il terribile terremoto che ha devastato oggi il Nepal ha anche colpito duramente il patrimonio artistico, storico e culturale del Paese asiatico. Non c’è molto da aggiungere alle immagini e ai video, purtroppo. Sono ridotti in rovine la piazza Durbar di Katmandu, e la Torre Dharahara, costruita nel 1832, oltre al tempio di Manakamana a Gorkha. Gravemente danneggiati il lato nord di Janaki Mandir e la Piazza Durbar nella città medievale di Patan, colpita anche l’altra città medievale di Bhaktapur.
